Résumé
Résumé
Molly Moon returns ... and bumps into earlier versions of herself -- four of them, to be exact -- all kidnapped and transported back in time to nineteenth-century India by Molly's most fearsome nemesis yet, an insane maharaja. Molly foiled his plans once already, by stopping Primo Cell from becoming President of the United States. This time around, the maharaja is determined to alter the course of history.
The only thing standing in his way is Molly and her brave pug, Petula ...
Performed by Clare Higgins

Gr 4-6-Georgia Byng brings the audience another fantastical tale ((HarperCollins, 2005) of adventure and excitement in the life of 11-year-old Molly Moon and her gentle pug, Petula. In previous episodes, Molly discovered that she was not an orphan and was reunited with her parents. Molly has also refined her hypnotic skills. In this adventure, Molly experiences time travel to 19th-century India and encounters previous incarnations of herself. She also must once again face her nemesis, the evil maharaja, as she seeks to save her beloved pug. Narrator Clare Higgins easily differentiates the voices of the characters, and distinguishes between each of Molly's previous lives. These adventures will have a familiar ring for fans of Lemony Snicket's Baudelaire orphans and their nemesis, Uncle Olaf. The engaging plot of this delightful addition to the series will entice youngsters.-Joyce Rice, Crestwood Middle School, Royal Palm Beach, FL (c) Copyright 2010. Critique de Horn Book
The pace never slackens in Molly's third adventure: a monstrous villain abducts Molly, her friends, and her earlier selves to India; all stake their lives on Molly's mastering the convolutions of time travel. Humorous and suspenseful, it's worthy of its predecessors: Molly reaches the beginning of time, contemplates evil's redemption, and uncovers a startling family secret (promising another installment).
