Come create with us! Our equipment is free to use. Library staff will be happy to help you get started with the machines.

3-D printer

Design toys, decorations, and useful objects using our connected computer, then print them in plastic. Our printers are the Lulzbot Taz 6. You provide the plastic filament to use in the machine.

Sewing machines

Fix a fallen hem, patch a hole, or finally make that quilt! We'll provide the machine, scissors, iron, and basic tools. You provide your fabric, patterns, thread, and notions. Punta Gorda's machine is the Eversewn Sparrow 30. Englewood has two Singer Heavy Duty 4423 machines, and Port Charlotte has a Brother LS-2125I.

Cricut

Create with vinyl, cut intricate designs from paper, and more! We'll provide the machine. You provide the vinyl, iron-on transfers, or paper. Set up an account on Cricut.com and connect your own device using Bluetooth or USB. Our machines are the Cricut Explore Air.

Cricut EasyPress

Once you've cut your vinyl or iron-on transfer with the Cricut, use our t-shirt press for easy application and finishing. Craft t-shirts, tote bags, and more using our Cricut EasyPress 3.

CNC Machine

Carve precisely through various materials. We'll provide the machine and design software. You provide the material to be cut. Our machine is the Nomad 833 Pro.

Laser Cutter

Engrave detailed images and inscriptions into wood or acrylic, up to 3/8" thick. Slice at precise angles to cut something beautiful or useful. The applications are endless. Create your design using our connected computer and cut it using our BossLaser LS-1420. You provide the materials to be cut.

Video Editing

Use our video editing software to create your next masterpiece. Bring your pre-recorded footage and edit it using the software on our computer. We've installed DaVinci Resolve and OpenShot at Port Charlotte, while Punta Gorda has Corel VideoStudio 2022.

Digital Art

Create incredible digital artwork with our XP-Pen drawing tablet and stylus, optimized for fast, fluid strokes. You’ll craft a masterpiece with the power of Corel Painter 2022. Our XP-Pen is the Artist 13.3 Pro.
