This photo of Peace River Lodge in Cleveland (also called the National Hotel, Baxter House and Beajim's Lodge at various times) was copied from a 1925 Chamber of Commerce brochure.

This photo shows Peace River Lodge, built c.1884 by Dr. A.T. Holleyman. Lumber to construct the hotel, which accommodated 40 guests, was brought in by schooner from Mobile, Alabama. A favorite with wealthy sportsmen, the lodge was called at various times the National Hotel, Baxter House, and Beajim's Lodge. It was lost to fire in 1965.
