Description 
This photo shows Peace River Lodge, built c.1884 by Dr. A.T. Holleyman. Lumber to construct the hotel, which accommodated 40 guests, was brought in by schooner from Mobile, Alabama. A favorite with wealthy sportsmen, the lodge was called at various times the National Hotel, Baxter House, and Beajim's Lodge. It was lost to fire in 1965.
