This photo shows Byron Rhode at left, holding Reverend Oswald's dog, Max, and Cleve Mays at right, holding freshly-picked pineapples. A handwritten note on Side 2 reads, "Cleve, Byron & Max. Cleve is so proud of this. Mamma will give you the details. In front of Crosland's packing house." The author of the note is unidentified but might have been Esther Oswald (Jordan McCullough), writing to her brother, Elmer, who was serving overseas in WWI at the time.
