Book two of Wicked Play
When Kendra Morgan attends a party at an exclusive sex club, she's not driven by mere curiosity. Hoping to prove she's put the past behind her, Kendra must instead face up to needs she's denied for too long. Despite her lingering fears, she can't resist the temptation to play...
Deklan Winters has had his eye on his attractive neighbor for months, but only senses Kendra is no stranger to the BDSM scene when she walks into his club. And he can tell that's not her only secret. What surprises him is his own overwhelming desire to give her what she craves--and to show her a side to the Dom/sub relationship she's never known.
With Deklan's guidance, Kendra begins to accept her forbidden needs and to recognize the fine line between pleasure and pain. But when her former Master returns to reclaim her, it will take all her courage--and all of Deklan's love--to defy her past.

Kendra Morgan attends a sex party at a local club at the request of one of her closest friends, but she is driven by more than curiosity. A submissive recently out of an abusive relationship, Kendra finds that her fears succumb to her need to play. Deklan Winters, co-owner of the club and Kendra's neighbor, watches the obviously troubled Kendra and struggles with his own desire to give her what she needs in a Dom/sub relationship and release Kendra from the bonds of her past experience. However, that past is catching up to Kendra, and Deklan must figure out a way to protect Kendra from her previous master and also balance the pleasure and pain that they find in each other. Verdict Aicher's second book in the "Wicked Play" series (after Bonds of Trust) leads the reader into a club where pain can also mean pleasure and healing. Explicit BDSM scenes are balanced by sweet connections between these strong characters. Aicher's vivid story line will wrap readers in the bonds of words.-Kristi Chadwick, Emily Williston Memorial Lib., Easthampton, MA (c) Copyright 2013.
